Demetris not just helped the team in almost every factor of the game with his consistent shooting, steady defense and desire to execute the coaches’ plans on multiple positions. He also showed example of professionalism, hard work, personal and family men qualities to young and veteran players. I would like to thank Demetris and wish him good luck in his career. I am sure that his skills and mindset will let him play important roles for the strong European teams.

Demetris Nichols:
I want to say thank you to CSKA management, coaching staff, medical staff, everyone in the office, fans, who trusted and supported me in this two great season with the team. We won three titles together – 1 Euroleague and 2 VTB Leagues, I was a big part of it, and this is something that nobody can take away from me. I understand that this is a business decision; it is time to move on and find other ways in my life. CSKA will occupy the big piece of my heart, and I wish good luck to the team.
