Ainars Bagatskis leaves BC Nizhny Novgorod
The team announced the decision
BC NN parted ways with the head coach. His contract was expired after the end of the season 2015-2016.
Ainars Bagatskis came to BC Nizhny Novgoros in summer 2014. In the season 2014-2015 the team entered Top-16 in Euroleague and reached semifinals in VTB United League. This season the club reached 1/4finals in Eurocup and VTB League. BC Nizhny Novgorod thanks Ainars Bagatskis for his contribution to the team’s achievements and wishes him luck in his further career.
Ainars Bagatskis:
- I’ve spent two wonderful years in Nizhny Novgorod. I’ve got an opportunity to improve as a specialist and met wonderful people here. I wish all NN fans keep supporting their team and I also hope that I’ve managed to leave a good basketball trace in the history of BC NN and the whole city.
