CSKA Moscow captain Victor Khryapa injured his left hand in the second quarter of Sunday game against UNICS Kazan. He is out long term.
Tests in GMS Clinic revealed broken bone in the hand. Additional examinations will be made to decide on recovery and rehabilitation tactics.
This is the second time Khryapa suffered broken bone in his left hand this season. The first injury happened in the Euroleague game against Darussafaka Istanbul in November. Forward had to undergo surgery and missed almost 2 months of action. After his return he approved himself as one of the team’s leaders, Khryapa was named the Russian Player of the Month in VTB United League in February.
