The guard signs for two years

Russia
CSKA Moscow made sure to keep another valuable piece from its last three runs to the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four by re-signing point guard Aaron Jackson through the end of the 2016-17 season, the club announced Friday. Jackson (1.90 meters, 29 years old) averaged 7.2 points on 40.8% three-point shooting and 3.1 assists in 28 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games last season. He led all Euroleague guards in two-point shooting accuracy at 61.3%. In his three years with CSKA, Jackson helped the team reach the Euroleague Final Four every season and celebrated three consecutive VTB League trophies too. Jackson joined CSKA from Bilbao Basket, where he played for two years. He led Bilbao to the Spanish League finals in 2011 and to the Euroleague playoffs in 2012. In his four Euroleague seasons, Jackson has played 108 games and accumulated 676 points and 262 assists. He has also played professionally for Virtus Bologna in Italy and Antalya in Turkey. "I am grateful to our president and coaching staff for extending my contract for another two years, showing faith in me," Jackson said. "I am really motivated to erase the bad memories we have from the Final Four in Madrid. I want to help CSKA return to its glory days."
