CSKA Moscow keep Alexey Zozulin
The player signs a 1+1 deal
Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow announced on Monday that it signed a new contract with veteran forward Alexey Zozulin for one more season and an option for another. Zozulin (1.99 meters, 31 years old) appeared in 4 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games last season, two of them in the Playoffs, averaging 0.8 points per games. Zozulin started his career with Unics Kazan in 2000-01 and played there until 2005. He then played in several other Russian teams like Spartak St. Petersburg (with whom he had two Eurocup participations), Lokomotiv Rostov or Ural Great until landing in CSKA in 2012, and he stayed in Moscow for the last two seasons. "Alexey is a hard worker with the experience of playing for CSKA the last two years. We had a meeting in Moscow and I see that he wishes to compete and help the team in the future. So I am looking forward to working together with Alexey." coach Dimitrs Itoudis said.
