Nick Calathes informs Kuban he wants to go to NBA

Nick Calathes informed Lokomotiv Kuban that he wants to opt out of his contract with the team to go the NBA.
The American guard has an NBA out in his deal with the Russian powerhouse.

"His agent informed us that he wants to go to the NBA. He has a buyout in his contract and until the payment is not done, he will be one of our players. We told him several time that we want to keep him with us" said Andrey Vedischev, president of the Eurocup Champions.

Calathes' rights in NBA were recently traded to the Grizzlies.
