Asseco Prokom Gdynia lands Oliver Lafayette

Polish reigning champions Asseco Prokom Gdynia officially announced the arrival for the upcoming season of Oliver Lafayette.
Lafayette started last season in Serbia with Partizan Belgrade but was waived after few weeks. The guard, once free agent, returned to US and played 21 games with Fort Wayne Mad Ants in D-League averaging 16.4ppg, 4.2rpg, 3.6apg e 2spg. In February he signed in Turkey with Besiktas but he did not pass the medical tests. Lafayette decided to stay in Europe and penned a deal in Israel with Maccabi Ashdod with whom he recorded averages of 10.5ppg, 2.1rpg, 2.9apg, 1.5spg in 11 games.
