Oliver Lafayette set to join Asseco Prokom Gdynia

Oliver Lafayette reached an agreement with Polish reigning champs Asseco Prokom Gdynia. Former Celtics will join the PLK team on Thursday. Lafayette started last season in Serbia with Partizan Belgrade but was waived after few weeks. The guard, once free agent, returned to US and played 21 games with Fort Wayne Mad Ants in D-League averaging 16.4ppg, 4.2rpg, 3.6apg e 2spg. In February he signed in Turkey with Besiktas but he did not pass the medical tests. Lafayette stayed in Europe and penned a deal in Israel with Maccabi Ashdod with whom he recorded averages of 10.5ppg, 2.1rpg, 2.9apg, 1.5spg in 11 games.
