Torey Thomas signs with PGE Turow

5’11” point guard Torey Thomas has signed a deal for the upcoming season with the Polish team PGE Turow Zgorzelec. In the last two seasons Torey played in the Dutch League, first with Hanzevast Groningen in 2008/09 then, last season, with Matrixx Magix Nijmegen where he averaged 16.5 ppg, 5.9 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 32 competitions.
Torey played college basketball in Holy Cross, then played on his rookie season in Kepez (Turkey), Akropol (Sweden) and Brest (France). During his staying in Sweden Thomas was named player of the year, having finished the season as top scorer of the league with 25.6ppg, ranked 2nd in assists with 6.6 apg and was also leader in steals with 3.1 spg.
