Anwil brings Robert Skibniewski back to Poland

Anwil Wloclawek brought in some experience for its Eurocup return by signing point guard Robert Skibniewski for the coming season. A guard on the Polish national team, Skibniewski (183, 26), who has spent the past two season playing outside, has experience at the Eurocup and Euroleague levels. He grew up with Slask Wroclaw, where he played for six consecutive seasons at the start of his career. He averaged 7.1 points and 2.3 assists in 12 games with Slask in the 2004-05 ULEB Cup, helping the team to reach the elimination rounds. Since then he played for Polpak Swiecie and Turow Zgorzeleg in Poland and for BK Prostejov in the Czech League. Last season he averaged 5.9 points and 2.6 assists in 19 minutes per game, helping Prostejov reach the Czech League finals. Skibniewski represented Poland at EuroBasket 2009 in Poland.
