Nemanja Djurisic's Scouting Report

Positives:  Djurisic is skilled Forward with great outside shot. Djurisic’s offensive strength is behind the 3pt line since he has deep range, good shooting form and ability to set his feet quickly. Djurisic is really good in pick and pop game, where he can knock down jumpers successfully from any position on the floor – both, from behind the arc or from the mid range area. Moreover Djurisic has decent slashing game and if defense closes out on him he is capable of putting the ball on the floor and finishing around the rim - he really likes attacking off the dribble from the top of the key. In the low post, he has really good footwork and likes to spin and finish with both hands. Djurisic is also good at facing up 15 to 17 feet away from the basket - he likes to settle defender’s hands and shoot mid range jumpers if defender doesn’t challenge his shot, while also if he has slower defensive player in front of him, he is capable of putting the ball on the floor and go around them where his footwork really shows of. Djurisic is physical player on both ends of the floor and does not back up from contact. He can be real offensive weapon since he can really score from pick and pop game, while also his post game can cause enough problems to defenders. Defensively he is a good rebounder who is present at the glass. He is decent post defender, who uses his strength and physicality to guard players in the post area. He can guard players on positions 4 and 5.

Negatives:  Djurisic is not overly athletic player and this really shows defensively where he has to get better at moving his feet and stay in front of faster Forwards who can create off the dribble – Djurisic has to work on his lateral quickness in order to guard forwards off the dribble at the next level. Offensively Djurisic has to get better at creating off the dribble. Even tough he is a decent slasher from the top of the key, he can still get in trouble if he has to create too much off the dribble - Djurisic has to be better passer and decision maker after he puts the ball on the floor and this is something he has to get better at, in order to be more complete offensive player at the next level.
