Triumph withdraw from BBL quarter finals

Moscow-based club Triumph have withdrawn from the remaining two games of their best-of-three quarter final series to instead focus on the FIBA Europe Eurochallenge Final Four tournament.

After stunning Spanish club Mad-Croc Fuenlabrada in game three of their Eurochallenge quarter final series on Tuesday night to qualify for the Final Four of that tournament, Triumph then notified the BBL on Wednesday that they will be withdrawing from their remaining two games against Siauliai in order to focus on their impending Eurochallenge semi-final clash.

Siauliai is the first team who qualified to the BBL Final Four 2012.
