CEZ Nymburk extends Lenzly
Il giocatore rimane un altro anno
Perennial Czech League champions CEZ Basketball Nymburk reached a new agreement with combo guard Mike Lenzly to keep him in the team next season. Lenzly (1.89 meters, 30 years old) will enter his third season with Nymburk, to which he helped to win back-to-back Czech League and Czech Cup titles, as well as reaching the Eurocup Quarterfinals in 2010. Lenzly averaged 6.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.2 steals in 12 Eurocup games last season. He has also played for Scafati Basket in Italy, Dexia Mons-Hainaut in Belgium, Apoel Nicosia in Cyprus, Tenerife in Spain, Ventspils in Latvia and TBB Trier in Germany. Lenzly made it to the FIBA EuroCup title game with Mons in 2008 and to the ULEB Cup Quarterfinals with Ventspils in 2005, also helping this team to win the Latvian League title that year. He is also a regular member of the British national team. Despite having reached a previous agreement, Nymburk also announced the departure of small forward Tre Simmons. "Mike proved his talent last season, especially in the Czech League playoffs," Nymburk coach Ronen Ginzburg said. "We know each other quiet well and I am aware of Mike's strengths and weaknesses. He helped us to be successful and I am happy to keep him in the team."
