Etha Engomis adds Mark Dawson

Etha Engomis improved its frontcourt for the upcoming Eurocup Qualifying Round by inking center Mark Dawson to a one-year deal, the club announced Tuesday. Dawson (2.08 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Ilysiakos Athens, where he averaged 7.8 points and 6.6 rebounds in 14 Greek League games last season. He started the 2010-11 season with Chabab - Zahle, averaging 20.1 points and 12.5 rebounds in 14 Lebanese games before joining Ilysiakos. Dawson has also played for Guangzhou Free Man in China, Santa Barbara, Carlsbad and Newport in the WCBL, Riverside and Maywood in the ABA, Giants Noerdlingen and Schalke 04 in Germany, Basket Levice in Slovakia and Hopsi Polzela in Slovenia.
