Czech champ CEZ Nymburk made official on Monday contract extensions with guard Tre Simmons, for one more campaign, and forward Michal Kremen, for two more years, in order to build the team as soon as possible to prepare the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds. Simmons (1.95 meters, 29 years old) averaged 15.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 12 Eurocup games last season with Nymburk. This will be his second season at the Czech club after having played in the Euroleague before with Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2008-09 and in the Eurocup with Hapoel Jerusalem in 2009-10 and Gran Canaria of Spain in 2006-07. Kremen (1.98 meters, 30 years old) averaged 4.4 points and 2.0 rebounds in 11 Eurocup appearances last season. After four straight seasons with Nymburk, he will stay one of the most veteran players in the team's roster with this new extension. Before playing in Nymburk, Kremen had only played in Brno since 2001, until he changed teams in 2006.
