Nymburk adds rookie center Adam Koch
Il giocatore arriva da Northern Iowa
Czech League champion CEZ Nymburk is bulking up for the 2010-11 season with the addition of Adam Koch, a big man who will be making his professional debut in the Euroleague Qualifying Rounds. Koch (207, 22) arrives after four full seasons at University of Northern Iowa where he averaged double digits as a scorer. Koch and Northern Iowa made headlines by knocking out favored University of Kansas from the NCAA tournament in the spring. Koch finished the season with 11.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game after having put up 12.1 and 5.1, respectively, the previous season. He appeared in more games than any player in Northern Iowa history, starting 101 consecutively and helping the team win more games than ever in its history last season. Koch will be counted on to give Nymburk size, strength and scoring ability in the paint as the club tries to reach the Euroleague for the first time starting with the first qualifying round on September 21.
