Zalgiris Kaunas wins Baltic League

Zalgiris Kaunas, after two years of break won a trophy: the Baltic League. The Lithuanian powerhouse defeated in the big final Lietuvos Rytas 73-66. The game was decided in the last minutes when the hero of the game, Tadas Klimavicius scored seven consecutive points, helping Zalgiris to run away 71-63.

The scoring machine Marcus Brown was the best of the team with 22 points while Klimavicius had 17 points and 8 rebounds.

For Rytas, Gecevicius nailed 20 points.

The final for the third position will be replied on Sunday because, with Ventspils leading by one, Siauliai scored the final shot after the buzzer.
