Torey Thomas remains in the Dutch League with Matrixx Magix Nijmegen

The American Point  Guard  Torey Thomas  remains in the Dutch League with Matrixx Magixx Nijmegen.  Last season he played for Hanzevast Groningen, He  was one of the key players of his team in 46 games he registered 14.0ppg, 5.7rpg, 5.0apg, 3.0spg, FGP: 45.8%, 3PT: 36.5%, FT: 72.2%. Ranked 2nd in assists with 5.0apg and 3rd in steals with 3.0spg. Torey has previously played in Kepez (Turkey), Akropol (Sweden) and Brest (France). During his spell in Sweden Thomas was named player of the year as he averaged in 22 games: 25,6ppg, 7.6rpg, 6.6apg, 3.1spg, 2FGP: 55.4%, 3PT: 43.8%, FT: 81.4%. He finished the season as the top scorer of the league with 25.6ppg, ranked 2nd in assist with 6.6 apg and was also leader in steals with 3.1 spg.
