Mohammed Abukar re-signs with Lugano

6’10” forward Mohammed Abukar has re-signed with the BC Lugano Tigers in the Switzerland LNA League for the 2009-10 season. He played for the Tigers in the play-offs last year, where he averaged 19.1 ppg, and 5.9 rpg while shooting 45.5% from the “3”. Mohammed started last season in the D-League and had a high of 36 points in just 23 minutes with the Idaho Stampede. He will have the help under the basket this coming season with 6’10” Byron Sanders.
