Nymburk Lands Guard Michael Lenzly

Continuing to fortify their team for a run at yet another Mattoni NBL crown, reigning champions CEZ Nymburk last week inked Michael Lenzly (189-G-81, college: Wofford) to play for the 2009-2010 season. Joining newcomers Pavel Pumprla (194-G-86, agency: PPGroup) (three-year contract) and Ian Hanavan (202-F-80, agency: Interperformances, college: Evansville) (one year contract), Lenzly also joins Nymburk on a one year deal. The 28-year old guard out of Wofford played this last season for Harem Scafati Basket in Italys Lega Due, where in 37 games averaged 10.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 43.4% from the field and 39.2% from three. Lenzly helped lead Scafati to the Lega Due semifinals. The well-traveled guard who was born in Oxford, England has also played in Germany, Latvia, Spain, Cyprus and Belgium since leaving school in 2003.
