Keravnos inks Jones and wants Kalafatakis for the bench

Keravnos inked American combo guard Sam Jones. The player, who also owns the Dutch passport, come from Pizza Express Apollon. Jones is the firts arrival for the next season that Keravnos will try to win after the final lost in the year ended few weeks ago.

According to Sport24.gr, the Cypriot club is close to sign Giorgios Kalafatakis for the bench. The coach spent the current season in PAOK bringing the Greek team in playoffs despite a very difficult season for financial troubles that PAOK faced. Kalafatakis started his career as a coach with Ampelokipoi, a large, central district of the city of Athens which brought from fourth division to the first one.


However, the experience Coach quoted the following:

"I'm the coach of PAOK and my contract is ending at the end of May, until the specific date I'm the Head Coach of PAOK, and I will be waiting for the new management team and the president of PAOK to discuss our further collaboration, my first priority the coming seazon is PAOK"
