Center Mladen Pantic moves to Cyprus

Mladen Pantic (210-C-82, agency: Beo Basket) will continue his career on Cyprus. The 26-year old big guy agreed terms with Keravnos Nicosia.

Pantic started the season in Greek A1 team Kavala averaging 4.9 ppg and 2.3 rpg in 7 games. In January he joined Serbian A league team Mega Hypo Leasing. In 4 games he had 10.3 ppg and 5.3 rpg. Pantic also played 2 games in Balkan league with 7.5 ppg and 4.5 rpg. He spent last season in German ALBA Berlin winning the title in Bundesliga and reaching the semifinals of National Cup. In ULEB Cup he had 3 ppg and 2.7 rpg, while in Bundesliga Pantic added 2.7 ppg and 1.4 rpg. In the past he spent many years with FMP Zeleznik, where he grew up. In 2007 they reached the semifinals of ULEB Cup. At the same year FMP won Serbian National Cup Radivoj Korac. In 2006 FMP became the Adriatic league champion, for the second time in club's history. In the past Mladen Pantic was a member of Yugoslavian U18 and U20 National Team.

Keravnos Nicosia currently plays the quarterfinals of Cypriot play-off against Etha. They celebrated 95-63 in the first game.
