Ashkelon and Galil trade big guys

A trade has been announced in the BSL when Galil/Gilboa and Ironi Ashkelon switched their big guys. Amit Tamir (210-C-79, agency: Arik Krayn Services, college: California) has moved to the north, while Nir Cohen (202-F/C-81, agency: Gross Zeev ISA, college: San Diego)n is now a member of Ashkelon till the end of the season.

Tamir averaged so far 8.4 ppg and 3.6 rpg, while Cohen, the best newcomer of last season, was injured for most of the season and averaged only 1.8 ppg in four games.

Galil has also decided to cut Lucas Tisher who was signed on a long term contract in the summer.
