Slovenian Cup: Union Olimpija won its 15th cup trophy

Few months after taking over the team from Ljubljana coach Jure Zdovc won the first trophy with Union Olimpija and the 15th overall cup trophy for the club.

In the big final Union Olimpija defeated Elektra (75:68), the biggest surprise of the Slovenian national cup tournament after it eliminated Krka in the semi-final. And the team from Šoštanj was a tough opponent also for Olimpija since its players even reduced to 37:45 in the middle of the third period.
