Novi Sad inks Perica Mitic, Metalac adds Predrag Markovic

Novi Sad announced signing of point guard Perica Mitic (184-G-85). 23-year old player moved to Novi Sad from Zdravlje Actavis, where he averaged 13.2 ppg and 3.1 apg in 14 games. His ex team is currently the last ranked in A league. Before Zdravlje, Mitic played for Radnicki 034 Group and Sloga. Novi Sad currently has 6-10.

Shooting guard Predrag Markovic (198-G/F-80) signed with Metalac Valjevo. Markovic parted ways with Romanian Otopeni and decided to return in Serba. He played 12 games with Otopeni averaging 4.7 ppg and 1.8 rpg. The most of time in his career Markovic spent in Borac Cacak. In 07/08 he had 14.8 ppg and 2.9 rpg. On season 04/05 he played shortly for Swisslions Takovo and later was tested by Anwil Wloclawek, but did not sign. Markovic also played for Radnicki 034 Group one season, as well as half of the season in Ergonom. His new team Metalac currently has 10-6 in league (third place).
