FIBA REPRESENTATIVES AT THE INTERNATIONAL BASKETBALL EXPO: MAININI, RADOVIC AND BOGOSAVLJEV
Three representatives of FIBA will be at The International Basketball Expo, the basketball convention at the International Sports Convention 2014, scheduled for December, 10-11 at Geneva: Yvan Mainini, Zoran Radovic and Predrag Bogosavljev.
Yvan Mainini 2
YVAN MAININI was elected the President of the International Basketball Foundation (IBF) in September 2014, following the conclusion of his term of office as President of FIBA (2010-2014). He is also FIBA Honorary President. Native of Bayeux (France), he had a decade-and-a-half long international refereeing career, consisting of more than 300 international games, including Olympic Games and FIBA Basketball World Cups. Graduated in Geography at the University of Caen, he achieved a Master Degree in Law and Economics of Sports at Limoges. He was President of the French Basketball Federation (FFBB) for 18 years (1992-2010), yet member of the FIBA Central Board since 1994, Vice President fromt 1998 to 2002 as well as FIBA Europe President (1998-2001).

ZORAN RADOVIC is the FIBA Development Director since 2005. Native of Belgrade, he had a succesful career as a player at Wichita State University, Red Star Belgrade, Alba Berlin and Pallacanestro Pavia, representing also the Yugoslavia National Team. He achieved a Master Degree in Law, and after an experience as General Manager of OKK Belgrade, from 1995 to 2000 Radovic began his longlife career as a manager, working for the Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia as General Secretary, joining also the FIBA Commission for European Club Competitions in 1998. From 2000 to 2005 he was FIBA International Relations & Development Manager, before being promoted FIBA Development Director, visiting through the last five years 50 National Federation, writing strategic plans for development of basketball in those countries.
Predrag Bogosavljev 2
PREDRAG BOGOSAVLJEV has served as FIBA Events Director since April 2006. The native of Kikinda, Serbia, has had a long and successful career in basketball first as a player, representing also Yugoslavia's National Team, and subsequently as a sports administrator. He earned a Master Degree in Sports Management and started his professional career as Secretary General of the Basketball Federation of Serbia (1996-2000) and the Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia (2000-2004). He played leading roles in the successful organisation of leading competitions such as the 1998 European Cup, the Belgrade Cup International Tournament and was the General Director of "EP 2005" Ltd, the company that organised EuroBasket 2005. Mr Bogosavljev has also served on the financial and competitions commissions both for FIBA and FIBA Europe.
