Erste Liga: another title for Buducnost, Mornar Bar loses the finals
Ten times champion for Podgorica after a really balanced final series
As tradition Buducnost Podgorica won the Erste Liga title, and after the defeat in the ABA Liga semifinals, the club can celebrate another championship, 10 times in 10 seasons.
It was a really balanced challenge, 3-1 the final series against Mornar Bar, that loses the first games of the season after 28 consecutive victories.
73-66, 77-74, 73-78 and 85-76 the results in the last step of the post-season.
Not enough for Mornar Bar the addition of Lamont Jones, and despite the great season of the national players (Balsa Radunovic closed with 15.9ppg, 5.5rpg and 2.4apg) the club lost another final this year, like in Balkan League. Across it was decisive the experience of Podgorica, dragged by Omar Cook and Julius Jenkins to the final success.
