Vladimir Romanov’s political party comes dead last in Lithuania
Il partito del proprietario dello Zalgiris Kaunas all'ultimo posto. Kaukenas il migliore tra i giocatori con 299 voti
Zalgiris Kaunas owner Vladimir Romanov’s political party has come last in his homeland’s general election.
Romanov, 65, headed his party list in the election and fielded candidates including three current players, two 1970s basketball legends plus a local Latin dance star.
But he was disappointed when the LPP trailed all rivals with just 0.26 percent of the popular vote in Sunday’s polling.
Rimantas Kaukenas got 299 votes, Darjus Lavrinovic had 200 votes while his twin Ksistof just got 173 preferences.
