Zalgiris Kaunas close to Ksistof Lavrinovic

Ksistof Lavrinovic is close to joining Zalgiris Kaunas where he would play with his brother Darjus and his former teammate in Siena, Rimantas Kaukenas.
Lavrinovic has spent the last five years in Italy with Montepaschi Siena winning five Serie A championships, five Supercups and Four Italian Cups.
In the last season, after the back surgery, Lavrinovic averaged 12.6ppg and 5.4rpg in Serie A. The contract with Siena expired, but Lavrinovic recently expressed his desire to stay in Italy. But in the last hours, Zalgiris is trying to convince him to join Darjus in the team.
