Zalgiris Kaunas officially announced the arrival of Ty Lawson till the end of the NBA lockout. The point guard has played two years in the NBA with Denver Nuggets averaging 10.2ppg, 2.3rpg and 4apg in 145 games played. Lawson was selected by Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2009 NBA draft with the 19th overall pick.

Ty Lawson has played three seasons in NBA with North Carolina Tar Heels averaging, as junior, 16.6ppg, 3rpg and 6.6apg in 35 games.
