Zalgiris GM confirms Martynas Pocius for next season

Paulius Motiejunas, GM of Zalgiris Kaunas, confirmed for next season Martynas Pocius, in an interview released at Eurobasket.lt.

"Pocius had a 2+1 contract and the option is only for a club. We want to keep him" said Motiejunas. "Definitely there is no option for buyout in his contract. His agent is seeking for variants but it is not changing anything. Pocius is in the US but when he will come back, we'll continue to negotiate the new contract" added the GM.

Zalgiris offered to Pocius a three-year deal. The player is in Real Madrid's radar and Merengues are trying to bring him in Spain for next years.
