Zalgiris Kaunas denied report on Weems salary
"Non lo abbiamo mai pagato, non lo pagheremo ora"
Paulius Motiejunas, GM of Zalgiris Kaunas, denied the report from States that Sonny Weems will be paid around €1M euros after taxes by the Lithuanian team.
"We have never paid a player so much, we are not starting now" said Motiejunas.
Weems is expected to be announced by Zalgiris Kaunas by the end of the week and will sign an annual contract with no NBA out. The player comes from Toronto Raptors.
