Trent Plaisted and Travis Watson leave Zalgiris Kaunas

Zalgiris Kaunas decided not to extend the contracts of Trent Plaisted and Travis Watson. Both big men will be free agent.
As reported by Lithuaniabasketball “We are still undecided about Marcus Brown. What’s clear is that Trent Plaisted is leaving and we’re looking for a player to replace him. Travis Watson will most likely be on the move as well,” said Paulius Motiejunas, the club’s General Director.
Zalgiris is also considering the option of keeping the Serbian giant Boban Marjanovic, but the player, who is on loan from CSKA Moscow, is on a big salary, most of which Zalgiris has to cover. According to BasketNews.lt, the big man gets around $300,000 per year and still has a two year contract with the Russian club.
