Lietuvos Rytas, El-Amin done for season

Lietuvos Rytas won't have for the rest of the season Khalid El-Amin. The player badly injured his knee in the loss against Caja Laboral, in the last round of Euroleague Top 16 and will undergo surgery.

The player may need up to 1 year to fully recover from the injury as confirmed by Tomas Vorobjovas, doctor of Rytas and will undergo surgery in the next days.

“[El-Amin’s] knee is badly injured. This season is certainly over for the player, but we will only be able to judge how the rehab might take after the surgery. Rehab after such severe injuries usually takes a long time. The entire healing process might take from six months up to a full year” said the doctor, as reported by Lithuaniabasketball.
