Elias Zouros is negotiating with Zalgiris Kaunas

Elias Zouros was seen yesterday in Kaunas. The coach and his agent are negotiating with Zalgiris Kaunas management to take the helm of the Lithuanian powerhouse until the end of the season.

Zouros had a terrific season last year in Greece with Panellionios reaching the Eurocup Final Four and being named Coach of the Year of the second best European competition after Euroleague.

Zouros with Panellinios played a spirited European campaign and became the only team without homecourt advantage to win its Quarterfinals series and reach the Finals.

Zalgiris is looking for a coach to replace Aco Petrovic fired few weeks ago by Romanov.
