Mirza Begic cancelled his contract with Zalgiris Kaunas

Mirza Begic is no longer a player of Zalgiris Kaunas until FIBA Tribunal will take his decision (after January 11, 2011).
The Slovenian center left the team because not paid on time by the Lithuanian powerhouse, which denied the lack of payments.
"The agent told us that his player was not paid on time. It is not true. We tried to reach Mirza but his phone is off. He never told us his desire to change team. His agent is playing a dirty game" said Motiejunas, the GM of Zalgiris Kaunas.
Begic was averaging 9.7ppg and 4.8rpg in Euroleague, 7ppg and 3rpg in VTB League and 8.4ppg and 3.9rpg in LKL.
