Zalgiris Kaunas-Washington, the negotiation is not finalized

Zalgiris Kaunas did not finalize the deal with Darius Washington, despite some rumors which are spreading on Internet, according to source close to the situation.

The two parts are still in talks and the American/Macedonian guard is one of the candidates for the guard position in the Lithuanian powerhouse.

Also the negotiation between Virtus Roma and Washington is going on with the Italian team which wants to keep the player for the coming season.
