Zalgiris denied rumors on Darius Washington

Zalgiris Kaunas denied the rumors on the negotiation with Darius Washington for the coming season.

"We are not in talks with Washington. In the point guard position we are seeking the market and wait for a solution" said the CEO of the Lithuanian powerhouse, Motiejunas, at Basketnews.lt.

(Despite the statement of Motiejunas, Washington is still close to reaching an agreement with Zalgiris).


Zalgiris, with the return of Jankunas, may loan rising star Mario Delas. Motiejunas also confirmed that Cukinas will stay with the team.
