Vainauskas denies rumors on Gecevicius

Jonas Vainauskas, at Basketnews.lt, denied rumors on the possible departure of Martynas Gecevicius to Cajasol at the end of the season.

The 21 year old player has another year left on his contract with Lietuvos Rytas and the Lithuanian champs will not let him leaving.

"He is a very important and young player but noone contacted me personally. I don't want to talk about him until the end of the next season" said Vainauskas.

Gecevicius in Euroleague averaged 14.2ppg and 3.3apg (45.2% from the arch) and in LKL is averaging 12.5ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.9apg.
