New comments from Virginijus Seskus on Ball bros: "Gelo was good enough to play in LKL, Melo wasn't"
"LaMelo is talented but he was lazy"
Two days after BC Prienai released a statement about the Ball family, head coach Virginijus Seskus was asked once again about whether LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball were good and ready enough to play in the LKL.
"Gelo was good enough to play at the LKL level," Seskus said (via Basketnews.lt). "But Melo, no way. He's talented but he was lazy. It will be tough for him if he doesn't and put in work."
LiAngelo Ball averaged 12.6 points per game on 43% shooting from 3-point range in the LKL, whereas his younger brother LaMelo appeared in just eight games, averaging 6.5 points on 27% shooting from the field.
