Anadolu Efes in the mix for Edgaras Ulanovas
The Lithuanian forward is expected to leave Zalgiris Kaunas
Lithuanian forward Edgaras Ulanovas has drawn the attention from a couple of Euroleague teams and one of the teams interested in him is Anadolu Efes, a source told Sportando. Ulanovas averaged 7.5 points per game in this edition of Euroleague, shooting 45% from the three-point line.
The feeling in the market is that Ulanovas is expected to leave Zalgiris Kaunas this summer. As previously reported by Donatas Urbonas, Ulanovas has already turned an extension offer from Zalgiris, worth around 400k. His current contract with Zalgiris is worth around 180k, Urbonas added.
Anadolu Efes is planning a big rebuild of the roster for this summer, as we previously reported on Sportando. The only foreign players that might stay with the team are Krunoslav Simon and Bryant Dunston, according to sources. Our Turkish newsroom reported that Efes has already reached deals in principle with three Turkish players: Sertac Sanli, Bugrahan Tuncer, and Metecan Birsen.
