Rytas GM Linas Kleiza criticized officiating after loss to Zalgiris: Game decided by the referees
The former NBA player entered refs room and abused them after the close loss to Zalgiris 67:70
Lietuvos Rytas lost 70-67 against Zalgiris Kaunas in the first “battle” between the two Lithuanian giants.
But after the game Linas Kleiza complained about the officiating entering into the locker room of the referees and verbally abusing them.
“I want to thank the supporters of Lietuvos Rytas. This team will become the pride of Vilnius but I can’t and don’t want to keep silence about the fact that this game was determined not by the players but the referees who were fans of Zalgiris Kaunas” Kleiza wrote on Facebook.
