The coach leaves the Lithuanian National Team head coaching job
Jonas Kazlauskas stepped down as head coach of Lithuanian National Team after his contract expired.
The coach led the National Team to two consecutive silver medals at Eurobasket (in 2013 and 2015).
Lithuania finished in fourth position the FIBA Basketball World Cup in 2014 and in the quarterfinals the Olympic Games.
“It was not a secret that this was my last year as head coach of the National Team. In my 10 years we have reached painful losses and beautiful victories. I am proud of what he have reached” Kazlauskas said.
