Zalgiris GM denied rumors on Kaukenas' return to Italy

Paulius Motiejunas, GM of Zalgiris Kaunas, denied the rumors about the return of Rimantas Kaukenas in Italy.

Several rumors surfaced in Italy on Lenovo Cantù's interest for the Lithuanian guard.

Kaukenas has played with Cantù early in his career and before his departure for Mens Sana Siena.

Kaukenas returned in Lithuania last summer signing with Zalgiris Kaunas.

Motiejunas said that neither the player nor his agent contacted him asking for a departure.
