Willie Deane remains with BK Ventspils

Willie Deane, who at 36 years old was first in scoring in the Latvian league (15.6), second in steals (1.8) and third in assists (5.1) last season, opted into his contract today and is now signed with the Basketball Champions League Club BK Ventspils for the 2016-17 season. Deane has won multiple championships in France, Italy and Bulgaria.
