Steve Zack's Scouting Report

Positives: Zack is strong big man who uses his size and body efficiently both offensively and defensively. He is good finishing over his left shoulder, using his right hook shoot. Zack uses his body to establish good position in the paint. He is not to explosive however he is always present at the glass, both offensively and defensively and this is his main attribute; he is very aggressive when rebounding. Moreover, Zack is very patient when he receives the ball in the paint, and he is a decent passer who tries to kick the ball out and find open teammates. He is good in pick and roll game and setting screens for his teammates. Defensively he is very helpful in the paint because of his size, and as mentioned he is very good rebounder on both ends. Moreover because of his length he also possesses decent shot blocking skills.

Negatives: Zack lacks athleticism and speed. He is not explosive off the ground so in certain situations he struggles to finish against players his size. Moreover he has to work on his post moves, since he is only effective when using his right hook shoot; he has to develop hook shot over his right shoulder in order to be more efficient. Moreover he cannot shoot, even though he has a good-looking shot. He has to develop his mid-range game/shot, up to 15ft in order to be more offensive threat.
