Kaspars Berzins wants to play in the NBA Summer League

VEF Riga's power forward Kaspars Berzins may play at this year's NBA Summer League. "I've said to my agent that I want to try it once again. Already last summer I was thinking about going to SL, but plans changed. I will go to SL if I it is good situation and a good fit for me. I know that our NT coach Ainars Bagatskis would let me go there' said Berzins to Delfi.lv.

Berzins also said that he doesn't rule out trying D-League. However, he may as well stay in Riga, but he's keeping his options open. Kaspars Berzins played for Phoenix Suns in 2009 NBA Summer League. This season he averaged 10ppg and 6rpg in Eurocup for VEF Riga.
