Guy Pnini takes shots at Eliyahu, Jackson, Krstic & Ivkovic
Maccabi Tel Aviv's 29-year-old international forward Guy Pnini is the ultimate baller every player wants on his side.
His deep range shooting skills? Guess again.
Pnini, a former Israeli champion and national-team starter, is the blue-collar guy who loves the on-court dirty work. His ability to instantly fire up a crowed is second to none. Yet, Pnini is also known for verbally -- and sometimes physically -- "terrorizing" his opponents. His unmistakable talents in mastering the art of cheap shots, drew adversity and antagonism to his brand.
Yesterday, Pnini was (again) accused of taking trash talk to the next level. He was caught by game-cameras calling crosstown rival Jonathan Skjoldebrand, a 6-foot-9, blond, blue-eyed Swedish-Israel native, a "Nazi," "a son of a bitch," and wished for "brain tumor," on Skjoldebrand and his father.
Maccabi Tel Aviv officials mercilessly fined Pnini $26k, stripped him of his captaincy and suspended the forward indefinitely.
Former NBA guards Jermaine Jackson (ejected) & Will Solomon (technical foul) are two of many athletes who fell victims to, and were x'd off Pnini's "red list" after being unfairly charged for his altercations while the two vets hooped in Israel.
I tried to dig up some Youtube archives but wasn't very successful. Here's a glimpse at four of Pnini's animated performances.
