Maccabi Tel Aviv looked into Troy Murphy
Il Maccabi ha il problema Pops Mensah-Bonsu
Uncertainty in Tel Aviv circulating Pops Mensah-Bonsu's physical condition is forcing Maccabi to squint elsewhere for (possible) replacements.
Sportando sources inform that Troy Murphy, the former Golden State Warriors' first round pick in 2001 NBA Draft who played 63 games last season for Los Angeles Lakers, was suggested by Maccabi executives.
At the moment, Murphy's name was taking off the table since the player declined Tel Aviv's interest while Mensah-Bonsu is expected to arrive at Israel's Ben-Gurion airport between September 13-14 for a medical checkup.
