Maccabi Tel Aviv pursuing Drew Nicholas, eyeing D'or Fischer

With Langford's agent in talks with Regal Barcelona too, David Blatt is pursuing the University of Maryland alumnus Drew Nicholas, who began last season in Italy with Armani Milano but left in February after 14 Euroleague games and averages of 7.4 points, 2.6 boards and 1.7 assists per game.

Fisher is not only 3 centimeters taller than James but also weighs 18lbs more and has 3 more Euroleague seasons under his belt. The 2012 Eurobasket.com All-Euroleague Import of the Year, played for Maccabi during the 2008-2010 seasons, recording 13.7 points and 7.7 boards per game in his prime.

Earlier today we revealed that Tel Aviv sets on signing Rafael Hettsheimer next week and that Blatt disapproves of bringing in Sarunas Jasikevicius.
